St. George Island-Plantation
St. George Plantation is the gated community on the west end of the island. With five miles of white sand beaches and wooded lots with natural vegetation and winding streets, this subdivision typically commands the highest prices on St. George Island. The Plantation features 24-hr security, pool, tennis, clubhouse, bike paths, boardwalks to the beach, underground utilities, architectural controls and an airstrip.
St. George Island-Gulf Beaches
St. George Island Gulf Beaches, also known as “the Old Subdivision” was the first platted area on the island (circa 1960). There are six blocks of commercial property in the center, three blocks on either side of the bridge. And four miles of residential property, two east and two west. Residential lots are approximately 1/3 acre each. Lots include gulf front, first tier, gulf view, bay view and bayfront.
St. George Island-East End
The East End of St. George Island is noted for its white sand beaches and bayfront boating opportunities. Developed in the 1970s, most of the lots are 1-acre with locations from gulf front to bayfront. The property was originally sold in 5-acre tracts on the gulf and 8-acre tracts on the bay. Over the past 35 years, most of the tracts have been subdivide into 1-acre lots of varying configurations. Sunset Beach and 300 Ocean Mile are also located on the East End.
St. George Island-Sunset Beach
Sunset Beach is a gated, beachfront community on the East End of St. George Island adjacent to the State Park. With single family homes, the style is Mediterranean. All homes are either gulf front or first tier gulf. A few lots are still available. The subdivision has a pool, cabana, tennis court and brick paved roads.
St. George Island-300 Ocean Mile
300 Ocean Mile, the Townhomes of St. George, is a beachfront community located on the East End of St. George Island near the entrance to the Julian G. Bruce State Park. The community features 1, 2 or 3 bedroom townhomes, two pools and boardwalks to the beach.
St. George Island-Villas of St. George
The Villas of St. George is a beachfront condominium complex located in the heart of the business district. This 42-unit condo community features a pool and boardwalk to the Gulf of Mexico. Each unit has two bedrooms and two baths.
Apalachicola
