Market Update After Election

The election is over, and it’s time, once again, for real estate to boom on St George Island, Apalachicola and the Forgotten Coast.  We’ve had four years of a stable market and are positioned for growth. In my experience here, since 1981, it does not matter to the real estate market which candidate or party is elected.  But uncertainty slows the market during an election year. Now that we know who the president will be, the financial markets should stabilize and real estate here will likely take off early next spring.   For buyers, this is a great time to invest, at the start of a rising market.
